The Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics is a state of the art department known for its elegance and esthetics with well distinguished under graduate and post graduate sections with ample working space and convenience. It is a Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences recognized Ph.D center with University recognized Ph.D guide.
The Department of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics faculty of dental sciences of Dayananda Sagar College with was established in 1991 .The post graduate department started in the year 2008, presently working with 15 postgraduate students. Recognition of Ph.D was obtained in the year 2012 and is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences. The department is functioning on the 5th floor of the dental college, covering an area of around 7000 square feet.
This department has into its credit, staff with excellent academic and clinical achievements and has delivered many rank holders who are successfully practising in India and abroad.
