Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) course at Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences is recognised by the Dental Council of India and affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. Admissions to the college will be through the process of centralised counselling conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority ( KEA).

Eligibility
The educational qualifications / eligibility criteria prescribed by the Competent Authority in regulations / guidelines issued from time to time will be applicable in deciding the eligibility.
Eligibility / admissions made to and by the college shall be subject to approval by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences and Apex Bodies
Age of the Candidate
The candidate shall have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete this age on 31st December of the calendar year in which he/she seeks admission.
Qualifying Examinations
A candidate shall be eligible to join the BDS course if he /she has passed the two-year Pre-University Examination of Karnataka’s Pre-University Board (or equivalent qualifying examination of other recognised boards) with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as one of the languages of study.
NEET:He/she should have appeared and qualified in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET). Further details with regard to NEET examination details can be obtained at:

https://cbseneet.nic.in/cbseneet/Welcome.aspxCandidate shall have obtained not less than 50% of the aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together, and a pass in the English language in the qualifying examination, or any other examination recognised as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka. Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe (SC/ST) students or students of any other categories notified by the government shall be given a relaxation of 10% in the aggregate marks required for eligibility.
He / She shall have obtained the required percentile marks in the NEET Examination as notified by the authority
