World Oral Health Day 2025

The Department of Public Health Dentistry and NSS unit of Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences observed World Oral Health Day on 20/3/25 by organizing a health education programme in Janaseva Samruddi orphanage. The children were given awareness on basic oral hygiene and good habits to maintain overall health and mental well-being upholding this year’s campaign theme by FDI; “A Happy Mouth is…a Happy Mind”. The proper brushing technique was demonstrated using a model and a toothbrush by Dr. Yashika Shinde. The NSS volunteers handed out dental kits to the children and staff of the organization.
The program was well received by both the children and the staff of the orphanage.

World Environment Day 2024

The World Environment Day celebration was conducted by the NSS unit and Rotaract Club of Dayananda Sagar College of Dental Sciences on 5th June 2024 (Tuesday) focusing on the theme "Land restoration, Desertification, and Drought resilience".
